Summer Plus is an academic and experiential program that gives students the opportunity to improve their English speaking skills, while getting to know American sports. That's a great way to learn about the history, famous players and impact sports like baseball, basketball, and football have had on American culture.
On weekdays in the morning the students have group English lessons. The groups are formed on the basis of the test results and age. The classes are based on the communicative approach and focus on major language skills - speaking, listening, writing and reading. 2 General English lessons are followed by 2 American sports classes.
In the afternoon (after lunch) students either participate in field trips (e.g. to Marlins baseball stadium) or take part in on-campus and of-campus activities such as Paddle-Board, Kayak, Beach Sports, Shop on Lincoln Road.
In the evening (after dinner) students have unique Miami experiences which include exploring Little Havana, salsa dancing and biking along the boardwalk.
Saturdays and Sundays are full of activities and excursions, for instance, to Marlins baseball stadium.
